I make jewelry (or jewellery, as we spell it in Canada) once in a while, primarily hairsticks. Which is ironic, given how extremely short my hair always is. I love unusual and striking jewellery. Little diamond solitares are lovely in their place, but what really attracts me are boldly unusual items...strange ear cuffs, crooked diadems, unexpected jewelled hair strands...things like that.
